Marawi City, March 9, 2025 – The Mindanao Institute of Healthcare Professionals (MIHP) is pleased to resume accepting online students for its Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program. This two-year degree course remains a vital pathway for aspiring nurses, equipping them with the essential skills and knowledge needed to pursue a successful career in healthcare.

Aligned with MIHP’s mission to provide high-quality healthcare education and promote community health, the ADN program offers a comprehensive blend of theoretical knowledge, hands-on clinical experience, and professional development to ensure graduates are job-ready and capable of making meaningful contributions to the healthcare field.

Comprehensive Curriculum for Practical Readiness

The ADN curriculum is structured to develop competence, confidence, and compassion in future nurses. It consists of:

  • Nursing Theory: 39 semester units
  • Nursing Clinical: 25 semester units
  • Total Curriculum: 114 semester units

Core subjects include:

  • Anatomy and Physiology – Understanding the human body’s structure and functions.
  • Microbiology – Studying microorganisms and their impact on human health.
  • Pharmacology – Learning about medications and safe administration practices.
  • Nursing Fundamentals – Mastering essential nursing skills and patient care techniques.
  • Medical-Surgical Nursing – Managing patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions.
  • Mental Health Nursing – Addressing the emotional and psychological well-being of patients.
  • Maternity and Pediatric Nursing – Specializing in the care of mothers, infants, and children.

  3. Receive a Decision – Your eligibility for admission will be determined within seven to ten business days after form submission. (Note: Eligibility does not guarantee admission. Admission is subject to the evaluation of required credentials, such as transcripts and license verification if applicable.)
  4. Submission of Required Credentials – If deemed eligible, applicants will be invited to submit official documents for evaluation. A non-refundable application and evaluation fee will be collected for processing.

  • Slots are limited – If required documents are not submitted within the prescribed time, the slot will be offered to applicants on the waiting list.
